The Christmas Market Madinat Jumeirah

Osmium Marketing and Events had the pleasure of executing the Souk Madinat Christmas Festival in 2020. While the festive market was not taking place as usual, we ensured that there were still plenty of activities and events to get visitors into the holiday spirit.

The team created a festive garden in the amphitheatre, complete with live music and outdoor movie nights. From December 10th to 26th, visitors could enjoy a range of activities including carol singing, local musicians, and garden games.

To add to the festive atmosphere, a selection of holiday movies were showcased, that included Home Alone, The Polar Express, The Grinch, and Daddy's Home. Every evening from 7 pm, guests could lounge on comfortable beanbags arranged on the steps of the amphitheatre, while they enjoyed the films.

Also set up was a free Santa's Grotto, where children could visit the Santa Claus with the elves daily between 4 pm and 7 pm. The little ones could experience the magic of the holiday season and leave with special memories that would last a lifetime.

In addition, we organized a series of arts and crafts workshops that allowed children to unleash their creativity. They could participate in activities such as canvas painting, string art, DIY snow globe jars, Christmas-themed decoupage, and painting sessions. These workshops were a great way for families to spend time together while creating special holiday keepsakes.

To make the festival even more unique, we included some exciting activities such as roller-skating Santa and hip-hop Santa. These interactive experiences were a hit with visitors of all ages and added a playful and memorable touch to the event.
